Last Saturday, Emily and I went out to the Smoky Mountains for a little winter romp. Since almost every road in the park was closed, we ended up hiking the anticlimatic Gatlinburg Trail. It's mostly alongside a road and ends up in Gatlinburg and in front of a giant patty melt and an awesome cold brew (maybe that's not really part of the trail). Here are a few pictures from that day.

Reverend Jimmy Williams Trentham. Born October 1866, died in August 1900. The Trentham's once lived where Sugarlands Visitors Center is now located.

It looks like a big icicle toothbrush.
